A Chartered Accountant and Masters in Business Administration, he specializes in commercial finance, long‑term strategy, capital structuring, and building high‑performing financial functions that enable organizations to scale responsibly and profitably.

Asad has been instrumental in the development and expansion of Pakistan’s tower and digital infrastructure ecosystem. He played a pivotal role in conceptualizing, setting up, and growing a TowerCo business into an enterprise exceeding PKR 100 billion in annual turnover, transforming it from a startup into a market‑leading national asset. His work spans strategic commercial pricing, shareholder value optimization, financial modelling, governance, and performance management – underpinned by strong relationships with sponsors, lenders, and financial institutions.

He has extensive experience managing leveraged capital structures, raising multi‑billion funding lines, negotiating covenants, executing interest‑rate strategies, and delivering tax efficiencies. His leadership also includes driving SAP‑based ERP transformations, establishing risk and governance frameworks, and leading procurement and operational cost‑optimization programs.

Asad has also been deeply involved in mergers and acquisitions throughout his career, contributing to several landmark transactions, including one of the largest private acquisitions in Pakistan valued at over USD 560–600 million. He has led integrations, asset carve‑outs, commercial harmonization, valuation exercises, and due‑diligence work across telecom towers, fiber networks, technology assets, and corporate entities.

Across Engro Enfrashare/Deodar, Towershare, Jazz, and PwC (A.F. Ferguson), he has consistently built teams from the ground up, set up organizations, and positioned them as industry leaders through disciplined execution and strategic clarity. His work has delivered significant recurring financial savings, unlocked new revenue streams, and strengthened compliance and governance systems.
