Engro Energy Services Limited (EESL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Engro Energy Limited, established to deliver specialized technical and operational services across Pakistan’s power sector. The company focuses on supporting Independent Power Producers (IPPs) through performance optimization, contract management, and strategic advisory services that enhance energy reliability and efficiency.
EESL operates as a public unlisted company, incorporated in Pakistan on June 1, 2018, under the Companies Act, 2017.
Engro Energy Services Limited signed a project and asset management agreement with Tenaga Generasi Limited (TGL) for the development of a 50 MW wind power project in the Gharo wind corridor, Sindh. Under this engagement, Engro was awarded an 8-year operations and maintenance (O&M) contract.
The project comprises thirty (30) GE 1.6xle and one (1) GE 1.5xle wind turbines. Engro played a central role in delivering a bankable feasibility study, negotiating the EPC contract, and securing project financing. Leveraging its in-house expertise, Engro’s project management team successfully achieved financial close in March 2015 – three months ahead of schedule – delivering significant financial value to the project sponsors.
Engro Energy Services Limited successfully managed the development of a 50 MW wind power project in Gharo, Sindh, featuring 25 Siemens Gamesa 2.0 MW turbines. The scope included testing, commissioning, startup supervision, and the development and implementation of project controls and systems.
Engro provided end-to-end project management services — supporting financial close, negotiating EPC terms, advising on contract and regulatory matters, and overseeing engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction activities. The project reflects Engro’s capability to deliver complex renewable energy projects with technical and commercial excellence.
